Arcadia Community Church & 100-Foot Bell Tower
Partnership Painting recently undertook a significant restoration project at the Arcadia Community Church campus, the oldest church in Arcadia. This comprehensive project encompassed four main areas, each presenting unique challenges: the prominent church structure, the sanctuary building, the attached preschool, and the impressive 100-foot tall bell tower, which now serves as an AT&T cell tower.
Our collaboration with the Church was crucial in selecting the appropriate paint and color, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish. The project required meticulous scheduling to accommodate the Church's active calendar and holiday events. This necessitated close coordination and daily communication with all parties involved, emphasizing the importance of strategic planning and scheduling for the project's success.
Our experienced and dedicated crews were instrumental in this endeavor. Multiple boom lifts were employed to access the high-reach areas around the campus. Notably, an 80-foot boom lift, operated by our crew, was essential for working on the bell tower, providing the necessary reach and articulation.
A key aspect of this project was the careful preservation and protection of the church's stained glass windows, the west-facing cross, and the painted murals during the painting process; these elements were critical.
Another significant area of focus was the preschool exterior. Maintaining an exceptionally clean work environment during the preparation and painting phases was a top priority for the safety and well-being of the students and staff. This required additional care and consideration from our team.
We proudly report that the project was completed on schedule and within budget. We consistently strive to achieve these two fundamental objectives in every project.
